Welcome to the Wiser Ways self-care course.
Welcome to the Wiser Ways self-care course.
Wiser Ways recognises the emotional demands of student and professional life. This course has been developed as a resource to invest in your well-being for students in mind, however, it can be used for anyone who wants to learn to weave self-care into daily life.
It is not designed to be another job to do or to add to your workload. You may already know a lot of these strategies, however learning to integrating them in meaningful ways for you is key.
Consider framing doing this course as an act of curiosity/self-experimentation, where you get to consider and tweak aspects of your life to accommodate your work and maintain your sense of self and well-being, which looks different for each person.
The concept of self-care will change across the course of your life, depending on the ebbs and flows of the journey, so in this way, this course is about self-care as an evolving way of being, rather than something you “do” each day or week.
