Session Fees
- Individual counselling / coaching (all services): $165 per hour
- There is no surcharge for weekends or after-hours appointments.
- Payment is required at the time of your appointment.
Rebates & Private Health / Medicare
- If you hold a valid GP referral and a Better Access Mental Health Care Plan (or other eligible referral), you may be eligible for a rebate under Medicare for part of the session cost.
- Some private health funds may also provide rebates for psychological, counselling or allied‑health services. Because each fund’s coverage varies, please check directly with your health insurer to confirm whether rebates apply to sessions at Wiser Ways.
- Note: You cannot claim both a Medicare rebate and a private health rebate for the same session.
Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy
- We require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty.
- If cancellation or rescheduling occurs with less than 48 hours’ notice, a $70 cancellation fee applies.
- If you fail to attend (no‑show) without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.
Payment Methods
We accept payment by card, bank transfer or electronic funds transfer, payable at or before the time of service. If you are eligible for a Medicare rebate, we can process the claim at the end of your appointment so that rebate funds are refunded directly to your bank account (or according to your Medicare settings).
